Man, it's been awhile. Hell, it's practically been a year since I last posted anything here.

There's no real reason in all honesty. I stopped coming back to DA around January-ish to focus on school, which at that point, I wasn't doing too well in (I was pretty much on probation). Once the semester had ended, I had spent so long away from DA, checking it stopped being a regular thing for me and I eventually stopped coming back to it. It's sort of like when you're watching an episode of an anime as it airs weekly, but then you miss an airing and then you kinda forget about it until the season is done.

Around the end of summer, I tried to get back into DB writing. As you guys can probably guess, that took... a LONG while. After spending so long away from DA, it took forever to try and get back into the groove and a great many things had changed in the vs community and to many of my favourite series. In the end, I ended up moving Lancelot vs Meliodas to google docs to work on it because I kept getting distracted on DA. 

I really wanted to get this fight done before I did anything else, but motivation has a funny way of slipping through your grasp. Lancelot vs Meliodas was basically stuck at around 15-20% completion for the last year or so. It wasn't until the last two weeks that I finally forced myself to continue writing during the winter break. As a result, the prelude and the verdict, which was made way before I completed the battle (I tend to do the verdicts first for most of my fights), likely contains outdated information, but at this point I was just desperate to get something out.

Regardless, I'm proud to say that my grades have improved from where they once were and I am no longer in danger of probation. As for the future of my DB?

I'm sorry to say, but I think it's best if I go back on hiatus. The upcoming term is looking extremely stressful and I fear my poor time management skills will bring my grades down again if I continue writing DB. I have been making plans for the rest of my season, but for now, please consider this account on break for the foreseeable future. I'll still be active on discord more or less and I'll still be watching DB as it comes out. No amount of schoolwork will take stop me from watching it XP

Regarding my bios, feel free to use them, though I feel all of them are horribly outdated at this point XD

I'll be around sparingly until Jan 6 when school starts back up, so hopefully I can catch some of you guys before then.

It's been a really long time since I've done anything productive on this account. I assure you though, nothing bad is happening. I could say that school, the holidays and work have been keeping me rather busy, but in all honesty, these last few months I've been super into my mobile games, so much so that they take up most of my day. 

Duel Links in particular has been super addicting. I had completely forgotten how much I loved playing Yu-Gi-Oh! back in high school, but Duel Links has brought that love right back. God, I've missed the thrill of drawing a super shitty hand and getting one shot the next turn /s

Grand Order too. So many new chapters and events, back to back, along with plenty of gacha salt.

In any case, I have been working on something for a few days now related to the teaser I released a few months ago, and it'll most likely go up soon after this journal. It's not a fight unfortunately, but this is one matchup I've been pretty hyped up about for awhile now.

I feel a bit bad about the third match I teased in my last journal. The others were really obvious, but the third one was way too vague. 

So, now that I finished Scorpion vs Razer's prelude, I made one more teaser image for the third match, hopefully with some more obvious hints as to who the characters are.

The other character is from a series where black ooze/gunk/sludge/what have you is produced from a powerful artifact


Hmm... that's still rather vague. Well, if you want any more clues or whatever, just ask.

Remember when I said I had two fights I was considering to replace Korra vs Lucario? I decided to do them both.

As the title suggests, I'll be making two changes.

The first one will be Kano vs King Bradley. I tried writing some of it, but it's been a real struggle to get my ideas out, and I feel its more trouble then it's worth. I'll post what I do have as some sort of scrapped fight so the stuff I did write won't go to waste.

The second will be Korra vs Lucario. Not gonna lie, I'm dropping this one because of bias. I really, REALLY want to have Korra win, but the more I look into it, the more the "logical" part of my brain starts to lean towards Lucario while the "bias" part of my brain screams in agony.

To replace Kano vs King Bradley, I've decided on another MK match-up, featuring a returning MK character from my past seasons.

Not sure what to replace Korra vs Lucario with though, I have two fights that I've been contemplating for awhile now.

On that note, I do have a fight that's pretty much finished. If everything goes well, I should have it out sometime tomorrow, so please look forward to that.
