Tempest: Destined for greatness in the ways of magic and tutored by a wise old mentor, these two have accomplished the impossible with the power of love and friendship supporting their every step.

But when pitted in the ring with only their powers and their wills to win, who will emerge victorious?

Paragon: Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived!

Queen Chrysalis: And Twilight Sparkle, the insufferable alicorn princess!*

Tempest: I'm Tempest and he's Hydro Frez! Joining us today is Paragon and Queen Chrysalis and it's our job to analyze their weapons, armour and skills to find out who would win, a Death Battle!

*Authors note: Please note that this is Chrysies opinion. We at the Cosmic Announcer's Booth do not think Twilight is an "i
nsufferable alicorn princess" for the most part
---
Harry Potter

Tempest: Harry Potter was born to James and Lily Potter and was orphaned fairly quickly thanks to Lord He who must not be named-Oh god flipping dammit auto-correct! It's funny the first time, not so much the next dozen or so times!

Hydro Frez: Anyways, Harry was stuck into a foster home with his terrible abusive aunt and uncle, kinda like a gender-bent British version of Cinderella!

Paragon: Wait, what?

Hydro Frez: Think about it! Both sleep in a cellar/pantry-ish area, they're forced to do all the work and house chores, have an abusive step-sibling, barely allowed any freedom, have pet animals that they talk to, and are rescued from their lifestyle by old magic geezers!

Paragon: ...My god.

Tempest: After being whisked away by the big friendly giant Hagrid, Harry enrolled in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. From there, his raw talent proved to be much higher then the rest of his class and was finely honed over the course of six years. He is exceptionally quick to learn new skills and his natural born talent allowed him to master several high-level spells much faster then your average wizard.

Queen Chrysalis: By the time he was seventeen, he had no problem kicking the ass of much more experienced wizards and stalemate Voldemort in a one-on-one fight. Harry is adept in almost every subject taught at Hogwarts, from broom flying, potion making and duelling and is even capable of bending the laws and rules of magic.

Hydro Frez: Also known as Transfiguration.

Tempest: He's also skilled with his tongue-

Queen Chrysalis: (blushes) Oh my...!

Tempest: ...Not in that way. He's a sharp talker, able to provoke his enemies and can speak Parselmouth, the language of snakes.

Paragon: For our sake I hope he doesn't speak bird (power rangers scene)

Hydro Frez: Not only that, but Harry can teleport with Apparition, despite not having a licence and defend his mind with his own personalized version of Occulemency by using fond memories as defence.

Average human strength, speed and durability
Fairly quick reflexes when casting spells
Very quick draw with his wand
Exceptionally good at Defense against the Dark Arts
Can do non-verbal and wand-less spells

Skilled Duelist
* Has defeated many Death Eaters including Fenrir Greyback, Yaxley, and can hold his own against Bellatrix Lestrange
* Can stalemate Voldemort himself
Sharp Tongue
* Taunts his enemies into making mistakes
Potions
* Fairly skilled at crafting potions given enough time and provided Snape isn't the teacher
Parselmouth
* Can speak to snakes
* Due to the fact that a piece of Voldermorts soul is in him
Can-Do-Inconcieveable-Acts-Of-Physics-That-Go-Beyond-The-Scope-Of-Human-Understanding

* Can teleport almost anywhere, but longer distances become more difficult
Occulemency
* A form of mental protection
* Protects from mind control and mind reading
* Not mastered, but adequate
* Uses a fond memory as protection

Tempest: Due to the fact that Harry has used a quite a large number of equipment and gear over the years, we've decided to limit him to only the basics.

Hydro Frez: Pfft! Fuck that, let's give him everything!

Paragon: Oh c'mon! How is that fair?

Queen Chrysalis: YES! DO IT! BLAST THAT PRINCESS TO OBLIVION!

Hydro Frez: Don't worry, it only becomes unfair if Harry curb stomps Twilight!

Paragon: So yeah, Harry's main weapon is his Phoenix Core wand, eleven inches of holly and the core foundation of his spell casting.

Tempest: The Cloak of Invisibility completely conceals the wearer, making them undetectable to the naked eye. Unless he walks into someone of course.

Hydro Frez: The Sword of Gryffindor is a sword originally belonging to Godric Gryffindor. It is a silver blade with rubies embedded in its hilt and has been described as both a longsword and a scimitar. Harry used it to kill the Basilisk and it is even strong enough to destroy Horcruxes!

Paragon: Speaking of which, the Fangs of the Basilisk are coated in a deadly poison, able to kill a human within a minute and is also capable of destroying Horcruxes!

Tempest: The Firebolt is Harry's racing broom, the fastest of its generation and explicitly made for peak aerodynamic performance while the Resurrection Stone allows Harry to bring the spirits of his loved ones back from the dead temporally.

Queen Chrysalis: Finally, the Marauders Map is basically a mini-map, only way better because it shows everybody's exact location within the grounds of Hogwarts.

* Password to activate it is "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good"

Hydro Frez: Now for the fun part! The MAGIC!

Tempest: Harry is exceptionally skilled in Charms, more specifically, Defence against the Dark Arts. One of his signature spells, the Expecto Patronum, is powerful enough to repel over a dozen Dementors with ease.

Paragon: Charms are normally used for support and defence in battle. Accio summons objects to his hand, Confundus confuses, Depulso pushes objects away, Stupefy stuns, Lumos lights up dark areas and Protego blocks other spells.

Hydro Frez: Accio sounds handy! Accio panties!

*several lace underwear zip into the room at Mach 10 and clock Hydro in the head*

Paragon: ...Will he be alright?

Queen Chrysalis: He died as he lived, an idiot.

Tempest: *picks Hydro up and tosses him out the window* He's in heaven now, let him be.

Paragon: Ah, alright.

Tempest: Harry's most used Charm is Expelliarmus, the disarming charm. If it hits, it will knock the opponents weapon right out of their hand, leaving them defenceless for a follow up attack.

Charms

Accio
* Summoning Charm
Confundus
* Confusion Charm
* Can be used on inanimate objects
Depulso
* Banishing Charm
* Opposite of Accio, sends objects away
Expecto Patronum
* Patronus Charm
* One of Harry's signature spells
* Using good memories, can dispel dark forces like Dementors
* Comes in both incorporeal and corporeal versions
* Harry's takes the form of a stag, the same as his fathers
Expelliarmus
* Disarming Charm
* Knocks whatever the target is holding out of their hands
* One of Harry's signature spells
Lumos
* Wand-Lighting Charm
* Creates a source of light
* Can repel malevolent spirits
Protego
* Shield Charm
* Can block other spells
* Capable of blocking curses from Voldemort
Stupefy
* Stunning Charm
* Renders the target unconscious
* Halts moving objects
* Practically guarantees victory if it hits

Paragon: Jinxes are more used for pranks rather then combat, but they can prove useful on the battlefield. I mean, who would want to get hit by the Pimple Jinx? I'd love to use if on you Chrysalis, but I don't think you can get any uglier!

Queen Chrysalis: GRRRRRR.....

Jinxes
Furnunculus
* Pimple Jinx
* Causes the target to break out into boils
Flipendo
* Knockback Jinx
Locomotor Mortis
* Leg-Locking Jinx
* Does exactly what you think
Melofors
* Puts a pumpkin on the opponents head
Oppugno
* Causes objects to attack the target

Tempest: The strongest spells in Harry's arsenal belong to the Curses. These spells include Confringo, which literally blows shit up, Reducto, which can effortlessly pulverize stone to dust and the unpredictable Sectumsempra.

Queen Chrysalis: Originally created by Professor Snape, Sectumsempra is rather unique in that it directly deals physical damage by cutting the target to ribbons. Unlike Confringo and Reducto, Sectumsempra was designed to inflict as much pain as possible while still keeping the target alive to feel that pain.

Paragon: Sweet Celestia, Snape has some major issues. Then again, I wouldn't blame him.

Curses

Confringo
* Causes an explosion
* Powerful enough to destroy a motorcycle's sidecar
Reducto
* Destroys objects
* Extremely powerful, can reduce stone to dust on contact
Sectumsempra
* Slashes at the opponent with invisible magic
* Perfect for sneak attacks
* Follows the users wand
* Extremely dangerous

Tempest: Finally, we have the Unforgivable Curses. This trio of spells are considered to be the most powerful and sinister of all known spells. To use one is considered a crime against nature and using one will automatically grant the user a one way ticket to Azkaban complete with having your soul ripped out of you by the Dementor's Kiss.

Paragon: If you're wondering why Harry got a free pass, its because during the time he used these curses, Voldemort's cronies had taken over and made the Unforgivable Curses legal. I'm pretty sure that isn't how the law works, but hey, magic right?

Queen Chrysalis: Hmpth, curses are legal in my kingdom. In fact I declare them legal here in the booth.

Paragon: Crucio is a mental attack, designed to torture the mind into submission with extensive usage breaking the victim. The effects of the curse depend upon the desires and emotions of the character - to produce the excruciating pain implied by the name, one must desire to cause pain purely for the sake of causing pain.

Tempest: Imperius is unique in that it is the only curse that can be fought against. While it is designed to take over an individual's mind, the individual in question can fight back and even break free if they posses a strong enough will.

Paragon: Finally, Avada Kedavra, the Killing Curse. If it hits, its instant death, no questions answered. There has only been two documented cases of somebody surviving a direct blast from the Killing Curse, Harry Potter, who was given protection against the curse from his mothers sacrifice, and Voldemort, due to his Horcruxes.

Queen Chrysalis: Yes, this curse will aid me greatly...

Unforgivable Curses
Crucio
* Also known as the Cruciatus Curse and the Torture Curse
* Inflicts excruciating pain on the victim
* Level of pain is dependent on how badly the user wants to hurt his opponent
* Does not cause physical pain
* Extended use on a victim can break their minds
Imperius
* Also known as the Imperiaus Curse
* Places the victim under total control of the user
* Strong willed people can fight back and resist
Avada Kedavra
* Also known as the Killing Curse
* Instantly kills the victim on contact
* Unblockable
* Signature curse of Voldemort
* Harry has never used it, but it is implied that he can

Tempest: As it should be said, Harry is not without his weak points. He's highly dependent on his wand as a conduit for channeling his magic. Without it, his options are limited.

Queen Chrysalis: All spells require a clear line of sight, and in some cases, eye contact in order to work. The Unforgivable Curses are no exception. Harry is also more of a range fighter, with little CQC experience.

Paragon: His eyesight is also pretty bad without his glasses. Without them, he's pretty much blind. Not a good thing in the middle of a fight.

Weaknesses

Average human level strength, speed and durability
Spells and curses require a clear line of sight and, in some cases, eye contact in order to work
Requires his wand to use the majority of his spells
Not a physical fighter in the least
Bad vision without his glasses (most likely near sighted)
Killing unicorns is considered taboo in his verse
->Luckily not applicable in this scenario since Twilight is an alicorn, not a unicorn

Tempest: Harry Potter has accomplished many impossible feats in his youth despite his weaknesses. His path was destined to have loss, but he persevered through and ultimately did what no other wizard could've done: killed Voldemort without actually using the Killing Curse.

Paragon: Alright, now lets make him fight a purple pony.

Queen Chrysalis: KILL HER!!!!

(Harry Potter: It's your one last chance… Be a man… try… Try for some remorse…)

---
Twilight Sparkle
AKA: Twilight, Twi, Twily/Twylie, Twilight Flopple, Sis, Twily-Wily-Princess-Poo, BUY OUR FUCKING TOYS!!!!
Age: Unknown
Height: Unknown
Weight: Unknown
Occupation: Ruler of the Friendship Rainbow Kingdom (Groan), National Hero, representative of the element of magic

Feats
-Outsmarted Trixie in a magical duel
-Broke into Canterlot
-Stopped a angry Ursa Minor by herself
-With her friends, defeated Nightmare Moon and Discord
-With the power of all the Alicorns, fought the all powerful Tirek to a standstill

Queen Chrysalis: Grrrrrr.....

Tempest: Still upset about losing to best pony?

Queen Chrysalis: Maybe I should try out Avada Kedavra right now, it's legal.

Paragon: Or we can move onto the bio and get this over with.

Tempest: Right. In the beginning, Twilight Sparkle was your basic everyday bookworm. Preferring her books over other ponies, she was personally tutored under the ruler of Equestria itself, Princess Celestia.

Paragon: However like every teenager Twilight eventually got kicked out of the castle with the excuse being to "look for friends"

Tempest: Or to put it simply, “Stop bugging me with your fairy tale nonsense”

Paragon: It was in Ponyville where Twilight would meet five other ponies who would not only be great assets for what was to come, but also become her greatest friends.

Queen Chrysalis: To sum it up, Celestia used them to handle her own family issues

Tempest: I don’t blame her. Nightmare Moon looked like a pain in the ass to deal with. If it were me, I would’ve gone off on vacation a week beforehand.

Paragon: Together they discovered the elements of harmony and the power of friendship, and by using this they defeated Nightmare Moon and redeemed Princess Luna, much to the joy of the fan base.

Tempest: From there, the Mane Six became national heroes and formed a bond stronger then steel. After many adventures ranging from battling the forces of darkness to learning the magic of friendship, Twilight’s magical power grew to the point where Celestia saw her full potential and decided to make her an alico-

Queen Chrysalis: DON'T finish that sentence.

Tempest: Eh? What’s wrong Twlight’s transformation? It’s a wonderful way to showcase her growing as a charac-

Queen Chrysalis: (Horn touches Tempests head while glowing) You hate the librarians new princess title, it is the worst thing since Sombra.

Tempest: (monotone) I hate Alicorn Twilight Sparkle. It is the worst thing to have existed since that thing named Sombra.

Paragon: Hey wait a sec you can't-

Queen Chrysalis: (Horn touches Paragon head while glowing) You hate it too, just like Equestria Girls.

Paragon: .....R-right

Queen Chrysalis: Good, next part

Physicality

Strength
- Was able to pull a GIANT golden chariot while airborn

Durability
-Has been able to survive many injuries that would have normally killed anyone
Intelligence
-Levelheaded
-Has a knack for organization which is helpful in coordinating others and plans
-Has created her own orginal spells

Tempest: For a little girl’s horse toy, Twilight has some astounding strength in that purple body of hers. While she doesn’t quite have the striking power of Rainbow Dash or Applejack, she’s evidently strong enough to pull a huge golden chariot with little effort! *whistles* Wish we had that kind of thing around the station!

Queen Chrysalis: As a matter of fact there is, mine (summons a golden chariot with chains attached to Tempest and Paragon) When this is over take me to the cafeteria

Paragon: What!?!?! I'm not- (his eyes glow green) uhhh... Ok...

Tempest: (collapses under the weight of the chains) Urgh… I feel like I’ve been hit by a piano.

Paragon: Just like Wwilight has, among other stuff. If it wasn't for toon physics, she'd had most likely have died before the first season had ended.

Tempest: You’d think having a flower pot, an anvil, a wagon full of hay and a piano dropped on your head courtesy of Derpy would scramble the brains into mush, but nope! Twilight still has one of the sharpest minds in Eqeustria, even though she should have some major concussions!

Paragon: Yep! Twilight has shown an incredible amount of intelligence, from being a skilled organizer and planner, rational minded in unfamiliar situations, and even created spells of her own design on several occasions.

Tempest: She’s a quick thinker, able to creatively adapt her spells to the situation at hand.

Paragon: Speaking of which she has quite the list of spells.

SPELLS

-She can fire powerful
concussive blasts with her horn
-A spell that allows non-Pegasus ponies to walk on clouds, an ability that only Pegasus ponies naturally possess
-A spell that gives a non pegasus butterfly-like wings made of “gossamer and morning dew

-"Want it, need it" spell can be cast on anything to make it desired by anyone who lays eyes on it
-A temporary time spell
-"come-to-life" spell which can make objects such as a plow move

-A spell that can turn living and inanimate object into oranges

-A spell that can send all clones made from the mirror pool back. The spell could very likely send anyone else into the lake by mistake, as the spell cannot tell the difference between a clone and a natural being.

-Protective magic barriers that she can use to protect herself or objects

-A teleportation spell she can use to teleport herself or anyone else where she wants

-A spell that she can use on herself or others which allows breathing underwater and to swim faster.

-A spell that allows her to carry multiple objects, hold/stop anything in place, and move extremely heavy things like a Ursa Minor
-Has a spell that can summon a ravenous Parasprite

-A spell that can be used to reverse gravity on herself or someone else
-A transformation spell that she can use to temporarily turn herself or someone else into a different species such as a Breezie

-A spell that causes a moustache to grow on someone regardless of gender. Not useful at all in combat but funny

Tempest: Like most unicorns, Twilight is able to levitate objects and shoot powerful magic beams from her horn that are strong enough to destroy a solid stone wall.

Paragon: And telekinesis, because all horned horses have that.

Tempest: She can also screw the laws of physics even harder then Transfiguration by giving non-pegasus ponies butterfly wings and allow them to walk on clouds, turn things into oranges, reverse gravity(!) and summon Parasprites out of nowhere!

Paragon: Then there's the more dangerous ones like the want it need it spell and the mirror pool spell. Want it need it makes you go crazy over any object and the mirror pool spell will send you to a permanent new home in the mirror pool.

Tempest: Say, can you do anything awesome like that Chrysie?

Queen Chrysalis: No but I can do this. (horn glows) Punch yourselves in the face!

(Tempest and Paragons eyes glow green before they begin punching themselves in the face)

Tempest: (in-between punches) I think somebody is a little jelly…

Paragon: WHY IS SHE MAKING ME PUNCH MYSELF!?!?!

FLIGHT

-Had trouble flying at first but eventually managed to get the hang of it
-Was able to fly all the way from Canterlot to Ponyville

-Using a boost of magic she can create a variant of the Sonic Rainboom, most likely reaching the same Mach 10/7160 MPH speeds as Rainbow Dash

Tempest: While initially a poor flyer, Twilight has improved to the point where she can swiftly fly from Canterlot to Ponyville in just a few minutes. Why she would want to fly when she can just teleport is beyond me.

Paragon: Maybe just to show off how she can cheat at flying and use magic to give herself a boost.

Tempest: By using her magic to boost her speed, Twilight is capable of making her own variation of the Sonic Rainboom with speeds most likely reaching Mach 10. Man, can you imagine if Rainbow Dash was able to do that?

Paragon: We'd get a pretty bad fan episode that for some reason turns into a crossover.

Tempest: Pfft, like that’ll ever happen. Next thing you know, they’ll be a crossover episode between MLP and the revamped Powerpuff Girls.

Paragon: As if!

Queen Chrysalis: If you're quite done, I'd like to hear her weaknesses.

Tempest: Course you would.

Weaknesses
-Doesn't really engage in physical combat but rather with magic
-If her horn is incapacitated in a way she can't cast spells properly
-Kinda crazy when you get down to it
-Certain spells requires concentration

Tempest: Seems to be an iron law in fiction, but in order to successfully use her magic, Twilight requires a certain degree of concentration to use some of her more powerful spells.

Paragon: And apparently some of those hits to the head knock some screws lose as she has been known to go nuts when things don't go to plan.

Queen Chrysalis: AAAAHHH!!! Stop showing me that!

Tempest: (shit-eating grin) Oh? The almighty Changeling queen is scared of a purple princess pony?

Queen Chrysalis: (scowls and looks at Paragon as her horn glows) strangle him until he turns white

Tempest: AAAAAAAND that’s time! Tune in next time to find out who is the superior magical prodigy! (jumps out the window)

Paragon: Hope he realizes he's still chained. He'd probably shatter his spine with the sudden stop.

(loud snapping sound)

Tempest: MEDIC!

(Twilight Sparkle: You see, Nightmare Moon, when those Elements are ignited by the... the spark, that resides in the heart of us all, it creates the sixth element: the element of... magic!)
Magical Showdown! Who will come out on top in this battle of magical prodigies? Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived or Twilight Sparkle, Princess of the Friendship Kingdom?

I think it would be Twilight because she is more powerful with magic but so is Harry but I still think Twilight will win because the can fly and she has a force-field and yeah TWILIGHT FOR THE WIN!
