ONE MINUTE MELEE!
TWO FIGHTERS!
NO RESEARCH!
MELEE!
---
Canyon Bridge
Across the setting sun, a bulky muscular man stood at the edge of a wooden bridge, twin tomahawks in his hands. Native American paint covered his face and shoulders, his hair adorned with a feather band.
Chief Thunder took a deep breath of the clean mountain air, filling his lungs with energy. Seemingly at peace, he closed his eyes and lowered his weapons, the near empty silence wrapping itself around his mind.
Suddenly, the massive man dropped a tomahawk and spun around. Reaching out with one beefy hand, he grasps onto the arm of another Native American dressed in a white, a small blade poking out from a contraption on his wrist.
Snarling, Thunder heaved the man over his shoulder and onto the bridge. The assassin quickly rolled upon landing and was up on his feet. Connor Kenway frowned and withdrew his own tomahawk as Thunder picked up his and made his way across.
This assassination would be trickier then he thought.
HERE COME'S THE PAIN!
FIGHT
Instantly, Connor smashed a smoke bomb on the bridge, clouding the area with smoke. Activating his Eagle Vision, he runs towards Thunder's glowing figure and jumps off the bridge. Hooking his tomahawk onto the platform, Connor swings around so that he was behind Thunder and raises his weapon, intending to cave in Thunder's skull.
Just as the tomahawk came down, Thunder whirled around and caught Connor's weapon with the handle of his own. Thunder snorted and pushed Connor off, the smoke dissipating away. On this battlefield, there were only two directions the assassin could come from. And it didn't take a genius to figure out where Connor was going with the smoke bomb.
Raising his tomahawk to block as Connor attempted another swing, Thunder struck out with his foot, nailing the Mohawk in the ribs and sending him tumbling back, his tomahawk falling off into the canyon.
Thunder pulled back one of his axes and swung, a fireball emerging from the arc of the swing. Wide eyed, Connor ducks under the projectile, the heat searing the top of his hood, and whipped out several throwing knives, all of which found themselves embedded in Thunder's chest. The brawny Nez Perce paid little heed to these daggers and simply roared to the heavens, calling lightning down to strike his tomahawks.
Withdrawing a sword, Connor leapt at Thunder, piercing his shoulder with a well aimed thrust. Thunder merely grunted and fiercely bashed Connor with a headbutt, sending the Mohawk backwards. Spinning around, Thunder slammed his axes repeatedly into the assassin and followed up with an upwards swing, knocking Connor high into the sky. Lifting his hands into the air, a bolt of lightning struck down, empowering the Native even more.
Bringing both arms over his head, Thunder swung them into Connor's body as he fell, hooking them into the assassin's shoulders. Spinning around, Thunder slammed him into the bridge, dislodging his weapons, and proceeded to stomp straight onto his face, cracking several facial bones.
Raising his boot to stomp some more, Thunder brings it down, only for Connor to suddenly roll away. Clutching his broken face, the assassin snarls and take out two flintlock pistols. Squeezing the triggers, four bullets come flying out of the barrels, hitting Thunder's mighty frame.
Stumbling back, Thunder scowls and summons a spear of lightning, which he quickly hurls at Connor, the bolt striking the assassin in the chest and sending him rolling back.

Before Connor could regain his senses, Thunder dashed forward, delivering a brutal shoulder ram into the younger man's face, filling his mouth with blood. Spinning around, Thunder slams the blunt end of his tomahawks across Connor's face, dislodging several teeth and a mouthful of blood, sending them splattering across the bridge while the teeth feel into the canyon.
Reeling back, Connor tried to counter with a swing, but Thunder easily sidestepped the attack and proceeded to strike Connor's legs, causing him to buckle, putting himself in perfect position for Thunder to ram his knee into the young man's mug, nearly knocking him over.
Struggling to regain control of the battle, Connor reaches for one of his weapons when Thunder brought both of his tomahawks up and nailed him in the chin. His vision hazy, Connor could just barely make out the bulky native grab him by the shoulders. Thunder pushed Connor beside him so that they were now standing on opposite sides and proceeded to swing, striking the assassin three times in the chest.
Swinging both axes into the air, Thunder sends Connor flying, his consciousness already fading in and out. The Nez Perce native jumped up after his prey, delivering a brutal headbutt to Connor's midsection, sending him just a bit higher. Touching down, Thunder raised his tomahawks and roared, calling down lightning to strike Connor's body. The Mohawk clenched his teeth as the electricity flowed through him, fighting tooth and nail to keep himself from blacking out.
As the assassin fell, Thunder lunged forward, digging the tomahawks into Connor's shoulders. Dragging the young man up, Thunder's boot found its way to Connor's torso, prying him off the tomahawks and laying him flat on his back.
His body in immense pain, Connor stared up glassy eyed at the sky. Thinking back, it was foolish to take this man on in close combat after his assassination attempt had failed. He needed to approach this his way.
Like an assassin.
Through sheer will, Connor forced his body to move, several of vital bones broken, including one of his arms and shoulder blades. Thunder snorted, somewhat impressed that this young man still had the energy to move after the brutal beating.
Scraping his axes together, Thunder lunges forward for the finishing blow when Connor unleashed yet another smoke bomb, clouding over the area once more. Halting, Thunder smirked and patiently waited. There were only two ways for the Mohawk to approach, and Thunder would teach him painfully.
Several seconds passed however, and Thunder's patience wore thin. Sweeping his arms around to clear the smoke, the spot where Connor had been was replaced with a trail of blood. Thunder's eyes followed that trail until he saw the severely injured assassin at the end of the bridge, scraping the rope with a throwing knife.
Thunder's eyes widened as he realized what Connor was trying to do. It had never crossed the Nez Perce mind that retreating was an option.
Shouting in his native tongue, Thunder storms across the bridge, pumping his legs harder then he had ever done before when the rope that Connor had been cutting frayed and then snapped.
In desperation, Thunder pushed off the falling logs and sailed through the air to try and grab onto the cliff. Just as it looked like he was about to fall short, he swung around with his tomahawk, barely catching the edge of the cliff with the weapons edge.
Panting in relief, Thunder strains his arm and prepares to pull himself up when the cold hard barrel of a flintlock pistol was pressed against his forehead.
His eyes widening, Chief Thunder could only stare blankly as the assassin pulled back the hammer and squeezed the trigger.
BANG!
The bullet passed through the Native's skull, sending a splatter of brains, blood and bones out the back of his head. Thunder's grip loosened and his body fell into the canyon, disappearing from view.
Connor grinned weakly and dropped his flintlock. Coughing some blood into his hand, Connor slowly rises, leaning against a rock for support. Staring down into the canyon to see if anything remained of his target, the gleam of the sun flashing off Thunder's tomahawk caught his eye.
After staring at it for a few moments, Connor reaches down and pries it free. He would be needing a new weapon after all, and this one would serve as a reminder and trophy of the mighty Chief Thunder.

It was a peaceful and normal day in the world of Outworld. Or as peaceful and normal a desert city could be. Regardless, everyone seemed to be going along their usual business as always. Kotal Kahn, the current rule of Outworld seemed to be actually doing a decent job.
One of the many top enforcers of Kotal Kahn was walking around the city while scanning to make sure that he was doing alright. However, he wasn’t walking. He was floating. Even by Outworld’s standards, h

IF this was researched instead of this ridiculous one minute melee bullcrap, then Thunder would've won.
